Ambient Insight CEO Joins USDLA Advisory Board

By Sam S. Adkins, Chief Research Officer

Seattle, WA - May 3, 2010 - The United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) has asked Tyson Greer, CEO of Ambient Insight, to join the USDLA Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is made up of prestigious research, learning technology, and industry leaders who advise the USDLA Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.

"I am honored to become a member of the USDLA Advisory Board," comments Greer. ""I share the same commitment to researching and promoting access to lifelong learning via learning technology. Training and education technology is continually evolving and our company stays on top of new innovations that provide lifelong learners with increasingly rich educational experiences."

The USDLA, founded in 1987, was the first nonprofit association in the United States to support distance learning research, development, and implementation across education, training, and communications. The learning communities that USDLA addresses are PreK-12, higher education, continuing education, corporate training, military and government training, home schooling, and telemedicine. In addition, USDLA also focuses on national and international technology-based distance learning.

"Ambient Insight has a strong affinity with the USDLA's research priorities," adds Greer. "We provide international research for eight different learning technologies across all the demographics tracked by the USDLA. We track the consumer demographic as well."
