Ambient Insight is proud to announce that Tyson Greer's series on mobile technology has been syndicated across the globe in ten different languages. Greer's mobile technology articles written for Microsoft Windows Mobile are now published across the globe and have been translated into Czech, German, Spanish, Polish, Dutch, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
"It's a pleasure to contribute to the global conversation about mobile devices," comments Greer, CEO of Ambient Insight. "I appreciate that Microsoft publishes these articles around the planet. This furthers a rich exchange of ideas about using mobile devices. After all, at the end of the day the point of using mobile devices is to increase your connectivity and productivity--and to do so securely. All else falls under the 'coolness factor,' which of course has its own appeal."
The popular series was first published in 2006 in North America on the Microsoft Windows Mobile Portal. The series is still available in English and links to all her articles are posted in Ambient Insight's Resource Library. Here are a few samples of Greer's international articles:
Microsoft started translating the articles in response to a growing interest from other regions. "I'm fortunate that the topics I like to write about have appeal across the planet," says Greer. "Whether you're using a device in the Amazon basin or the Zhejiang Province, you still have some of the same basic issues: How do I use my device securely? How can I increase my productivity? How do I choose my next device?"
Greer's most popular articles among international readers are also the articles that appeal to US readers. "Anyone who writes about mobile devices is aware that the mobile landscape is worldwide. Of course in the United States we are behind the curve as far as implementing high speed networks and availability of the most advanced devices, but we are closing that gap," adds Greer.
In August 2007 Microsoft renewed their contract with Greer and she is writing a new series of articles scheduled for publication before the end of 2007. In her new series she picks up where she left off and extends her range to include the latest trends in the mobile industry such as mobile edugames, Bluetooth, and mobile TV.
