Ambient Insight is pleased to announce that industry veteran Judy Brown has joined their Advisory Board. Judy is a leading international Mobile Learning expert and a highly-regarded educational technology consultant. Judy has been involved in the research and development of learning technology products for many years and has an impressive track record in applied research in the higher education and government segments.

Judy recently retired as the Emerging Technology Analyst in the Office of Learning and Information Technology (OLIT) at the University of Wisconsin (UW) System Administration. During the past six years she was the Founder and Director of the Academic Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Co-Lab in partnership with the Department of Defense. As Director of the ADL Co-Lab she conducted extensive learning technology research for the fifteen institutions in the UW System.
"Judy is a pioneer in the elearning industry and shares my enthusiasm for tracking learning technology products. I look forward to working with her on upcoming projects," said Sam Adkins, Chief Research Officer at Ambient Insight. "She is one of a handful of people I know in the training industry that can keep a finger on the pulse of the rapidly evolving technology," added Adkins.
Judy serves on the Elliot Masie Learning CONSORTIUM Learning Leadership Council and continues to work closely with ADL. She was recently appointed to a board position on the Wisconsin Charter Schools Association (WCSA) Board of Directors and the US Army's Distance Learning Training Technology Subcommittee.
"One of my best experiences in the industry has been my involvement with PC Week/eWEEK as the coordinator of their corporate advisory board," said Judy Brown. "I was able to dialog with extremely smart people and we had some great discussions over issues that others had not even considered.
