Ambient Insight Launches Revenue Opportunity Series

Targeted research identifies revenue opportunities for suppliers

Ambient Insight today announced a new series of research products that isolate the highest revenue opportunities for suppliers. The targeted research identifies specific revenue opportunities for learning BPOs, content providers, and learning technology suppliers.

"We developed the Revenue Opportunity Series to provide suppliers with highly-granular addressable market forecasts for very specific products," said Tyson Greer, Chief Executive Officer. "This series is designed to help suppliers make money—we provide insights they can 'take to the bank.' "

Ambient Insight has a breathtaking view of the US learning technology market. The vendor-independent R&D firm has an "8x8 forecast matrix" that correlates the demand for eight product types across eight buyer segments. It is the most complete view of the US demand for learning products and services in the industry.

The first two reports released in the Revenue Opportunity Series identify the top revenues in the US IT training industry: Learning outsourcing services and Real-time Collaboration-based Learning events. Learning BPO services are growing by 21.5% and the revenues for Real-time Collaboration-based Learning events are growing by 39%.

In the second report, "Follow the Money: 2007-2012 Real-time Collaboration-based Learning Revenues in the IT Training Industry," co-analysts Adkins and Burger show that the virtual labs and virtual class events will generate more revenues for suppliers than Self-paced eLearning by 2012.
